''Some tinhorns will say that God is a liar and there was no Genesis Flood, but they are willingly ignorant.''
There was no global flood 4,500 years ago. That is the truth I keep repeating. To this unrepentant climate change liar. I agree that a big hill covering flood is mentioned in Genesis. Such a thing is impossible however - and there is no historical or scientific record of it. The story teaches about God's judgement of sin however.

I sent him the following message concerning the above post:
''I think you need psychological help concerning your irrational hatred of people who are worried about man-caused climate change (including other Christians).''
He will no doubt double down on his reality denial and hatred in response. It's what irrational bigots do after all.
Once again the meat machine known as Ashley Haworth-Roberts is misrepresenting the meat machine known as Cowboy Bob Sorensen. There were no Christians mentioned in the post. The only hatred expressed was by Ashley Haworth-Roberts who has openly stated that he wishes to destroy Cowboy Bob Sorensen. This is not happening and Ashley Haworth-Roberts is showing several narcissistic characteristics including doubling down himself on his attacks and throwing tantrums because he is not only failing but proving the Cowboy to be correct when he has dismantled the logic of Ashley Haworth-Roberts.

''Bible verses have been taken out of context and twisted to support flat-earth beliefs, and then unbelievers also use these to not only mock the Bible but also flat-earthers. One of these is Matthew 4:8, which one sidewinder ripped out of context for the purpose of ridiculing the inerrancy of Scripture. (He had been shown a refutation, but he was infallibly speaking ex cathedra, so the rest of us mere mortals are wrong.)
viewtopic.php?f=18&t=3153&start=1245#p52409''
I did NO such thing. (Which is why this evildoer fails to specifically back up his claim that I 'twisted' Matthew 4:8.)
http://forums.bcseweb.org.uk/viewtopic. ... hew#p52402 (my posts dated 4 April 2019)
The evil person Sorensen is simply REPEATING his earlier LIE that I was shown a 'refutation'. I was NOT. I was shown (again) that Faulkner article - the very article that MY emails, shown at the BCSE community forum, strongly criticised with respect to Faulkner's 'take' that maybe the mountain mentioned in Matthew 4:8 was 'hypothetical'. The mountain looks real to me. So it was Faulkner (and now Sorensen) who are questioning what Matthew 4:8 actually says. NOT me. It is these bigots who insist that every Bible verse is 'infallible'/'inerrant' - yet they question whether the mountain mentioned at Matthew 4:8 was real (because if it was the implication of the verse is that Earth is flat and you can see every kingdom from the top of a tall mountain. You can't.
Still waiting for Sorensen (and Answers in Genesis) to explain exactly how Matthew 4:8 does 'not' suggest a flat Earth (and rather a spherical one).
'Cowboy' Bob Sorensen, and his two friends who also falsely attack, are pure EVIL. And sick. They should be exposed and ostracised by both real Christians and other honest folk. (As I am doing - the former anyway.)
In the case of that nastiness today from Long - I had already stopped copying in Bump, James, Kidder, Nelstead and Davidson - something the liar failed to mention (when he still copied them in).
Sorensen, Long and Gordons will be in hell.

''Creation and Embarrassment
There are professing Christians who claim to believe the authority of the Bible, then deny recent creation and the Flood. The evidence supports our faith.
https://www.biblecreation.com/2019/07/c ... ent.html''
http://rationalfaith.com/2019/07/are-yo ... ian-faith/ (this article is followed by nine dreadful 'science' claims that have been repeatedly debunked; if the writer is not a deceiver he is deceived and does not know or care)
Those Christians that you have contempt for would accept recent creation and a global flood (and probably also deny the causes of ongoing climate change/global warming) if the evidence was on their side. But it is not. That is what this is about. Christians who do not think Genesis trumps known reality. And YECs who are judgmental towards them whilst employing falsehoods and distortions to try and make their biblical case that is made because of dogma.
According to Sorensen's article: ''Am I doing them a disservice by questioning their commitment to the authority of the Bible they profess to believe and defend? I'll go a bit further and also say that I think that they have a problem with pride. We want the hands at the Darwin Ranch to think we're sorta smart after all, so we cede the age of the earth and the Flood to secular view...''. It's not about pride it's about truth and reality. And the Bible and fundamentalists do not have a monopoly of 'truth'.
And: ''... not the ever-changing whims of secular science interpretations.''
That is a gross caricature of reality (that same, robust, scientific - and 'secular' not religious/creationist - knowledge got us to the moon and back 50 years ago).
And some non-Christians despise hardline Christians who target them and claim they are 'wrong' about everything including science. There is more common ground concerning acquired scientific knowledge from 'creation' than Bob will ever allow for.

''This snide tinhorn (Darwin's equivalent of Comical Ali) had taken exception to my oft-used remarks about "the ever-changing whims of secular science interpretations", and he told me so. He claimed that I was misrepresenting "reality" and science is secular, not "religious" or "creationist", and it got Americans to the moon fifty years ago. Someone is exhibiting his lack of logic.''
The evasive coward is attacking my words without allowing his bigoted followers to even read them. That is how liars and haters behave. The man is a hypocrite - and he knows it. He is unrepentant - and always will be. He is not a real Christian. No fruits of the spirit ever on display.
He is evil.
He will never silence me.
''... he is conflating operational science with historical science''. So is this anti-science liar. Every time he denies the ('operational') science of man-made current global warming (and attacks people worried about future global warming).
