Wolves, Thylacines and creationists

Postby Brian Jordan » Mon Oct 14, 2019 6:57 pm

An interesting article flagged up by New Scientist.
It seems that "non-coding" DNA is very important - no doubt the creationists will cheer that to the rafters.
But hold on - that importance is in the very act of evolution. It seems to include the mechanism for convergent evolution. As has been discovered when sequencing the genome ofthe remarkably similar mammalian wolves and marsupial thyclacines.
Sorry Ken - evolution 1, creationism 0.

Ham is coming to Britain tell people what to think, including about evolution and science in general, in Oxford shortly:

He has all the answers a Christian fundamentalist could ever need. As do most religious cultists.
