Just a heads up that CMI is bringing a creationist day conference to Edinburgh in October, in association with the Edinburgh Creation Group.
Full details here:
I see our Marc will be taking part, doing a talk on the biological evidence for creation. That should be short.
Still I'm sure he's delighted to be a speaker for such charming sponsors as CMI. In the last few weeks alone they've enchanted us all with several hate and bile filled rants about the moral degradation of those of us accepting the theory of evolution. A glowing advert for christianity they are not. Why just today I've realised we're totally in favour of eugenics and in recent weeks have been shamed to hear that we are also complicit in racism, the crimes of the nazis and Anders Breivik. Oh and gay rape and baby killing also seems to be an inevitable consequence of acceptance of the fossil record.
Still it'll be nice for Marc to catch up with CMIs charming employees Bell and Statham to slag off and slander all the moral bankrupts in the world. And moan about why such vile claims aren't being allowed into the nations schools. My evolution accepting friend who works her butt off in a special care baby unit was thrilled to hear what that she was really a baby butchering nazi by the way, I can't really print her response:evil:
Also attending is the delightful Paul James Griffiths whose talk on the fruits of evolution was so offensive and insane it even seems to have been removed from the ECG site. A feat indded. However stiil available in all its hate filled, propaganda ridden glory on you tube.
So the quesion on my lips is will Marc will ponder on the 'christian' credentials of those running this and pull out rather than mix with such unpleasant people? Or will he just think you can't choose your friends. Oops sorry, its your family you can't choose.
