Last time I checked (a few years ago) the ICR's income had been stagnant or declining for a good few years. Since then it has stopped being a "university" and can no long issue PhDs. As far as I am aware it now consists of, perhaps, a dozen "employees" or "researchers" and a publishing arm.
It's difficult to get precise stats on the decline in religious fundamentalism in the USA but the evidence I've seen suggests it is shrinking fast. Outfits like the SBC are seeing very few young people joining its movement - perhaps one per church per year on average.
Other fundamentalist outfits such as Focus on the Family have seen big lay-offs of staff in recent years.
