Creationist deception - different from the usual

Postby Brian Jordan » Wed Mar 26, 2014 11:51 am

PZ Myers reports on an unusual - I hope - form of creationist deception. Apparently a creationist persuaded a Biology journal to publish a typical creationist screed and to assist its acceptance added the name of a respectable scientist to the paper. Said scientist not even knowing about it until after it had been withdrawn following complaints.

The astonishing thing about this scam is the paper's abstract which clearly has not been proof read, is full of grammatical errors and is nothinng more than school kid level creationist boilerplate. It looks as if it was written by a 14 year old.
