Animatronic dinosaurs head for Dorset

Postby Brian Jordan » Sun Dec 22, 2013 11:06 am

But don't worry, it's an Attenborough not a Ham who will be herding them there!
A real Jurassic Dinosaur Museum, similar to Eden Project, is being planned by Sir David Attenborough and others for a disused quarry on Portland, near Chesil Beach.
The story's in the Sunday Times print edition and you can't see the usual introductory fragment on their paywalled web site. No doubt news will soon spread and Google will point us to more elsewhere.
What it doesn't say is when they expect to have it finished, and so how long the creationist version on the South coast has left before it is cast into shadow and goes extinct.
