"We think that evidence shows the world is much older than 6,000 years but much younger than 4.5 billion years."

Around 2.5 billion maybe? Or then again maybe not?

So it appears to be pushing its creationist propaganda material far more than had been suggested?

She's right about the name not giving anything away - I wouldn't have been suspicious of any zoo or farm park with a Noahs ark in the name.

Why hasn't it been closed down for what look like abuses of the correct care of its animals? LIke Ken Ham's ark, it seems that creationists aren't that fussed about the welfare of their creators' animals.

Our wonderful pal Pastor David Anderson appears to have popped his hed up and commented on the article :-(

I'm surprised because he seems to get his entire understanding of the non-religious world from the Torygraph and Daily/Sunday Mail.

Paul Taylor has chipped in in defence of the zoo. While saying Bush doesn't push his creationism, he does say...
Though their creationist beliefs are open and honest, they are not actually “in your face” at the zoo – though I absolutely love Anthony’s Gospel presentations from his Noah’s Ark presentation room.
First I've heard of that - time for a Google?
Anyway, it's not all bad news: at the top of the article, he proclaims that Creation Today is running out of money and will have to scale back its activities unless cash is forthcoming.

Yer, Eric Hovind's outfit. Strange, isn't it, that the article tries to smear the Grauniad by claiming it is "anti-monarchist" - that's from a US organisation! Brenda is not well known as a creationist.
