New biomimetic quotemine motherload found?

Will they be able to resist this finding of cogs in grasshoppers?
Machines imitate life: The insect that goes through the gears just like a car

Discovery dispels notion that gears are a human invention – evolution got there first
I'm sure they'll bypass that unwelcome word in the headline, but what about this:
"These gears are not designed; they are evolved - representing high speed and precision machinery evolved for synchronisation in the animal world,” Dr Sutton said.
Will they be able to resist quoting - or rather, misquoting - the animal's name, though? "the Issus leafhopper"
Anyway, do have a look if only to see the brilliant electron micrograph.
