Here's another blogger on the same Ham piece (why does he record all these 60 second or so video pieces if he is in danger of being misunderstood because such places are ones "where one can hardly say much at all" as he said on Facebook yesterday):http://sensuouscurmudgeon.wordpress.com ... /#comments
"You heard him — he has no proof (other than scripture) that evolution is a lie". Yes, I think that is a fair interpretation as far as it goes. Though of course Ham and other YECs are still SEARCHING for 'final proof' from what they consider science that would show evolution to be a 'lie', they haven't given up. He wrote "the right scientific evidence will silence" rather than "the right scientific evidence would silence", as if he thinks YEC research will unearth it someday (or even that real science will manage to falsify molecules to man evolution).
The earlier blog said "Answers in Genesis President Ken Ham admitted there was no scientific evidence that conclusively demonstrated that evolution was a lie", which to me suggested he was admitting that such evidence simply does not exist rather than - no doubt his intended meaning - that it merely hasn't been found yet.
What Ham said was indeed rather garbled and rushed - and does not really square with his overblown title.
I think his Facebook comments admit to this and he does not sound especially aggrieved that the earlier bloggers misread his meaning.
