ID mocked on BBC...

Postby Brian Jordan » Fri Nov 04, 2011 10:43 pm

...by Stephen Fry on QI, where a question was about "Intelligent Falling".
The extended repeat, QIXL, is at 9:30 on Saturday on BBC2 and QI should be on iPlayer shortly.
Unfortunately the Blessed Stephen seemed to think ID is a purely American phenomenon. Perhaps an expert twitterer could point him Glasgow-wards.

Saw it. Ben Goldacre then referred to David Ickes theory about the royal family being alien lizards in human suits which I'd forgotten about-my hairdresser is a fan of the theory. Useful to remember Ickes theory next time a YEC kicks off. Someone really should point out that their ideas are as silly as Ickes and that they have just as much evidence as he has, ie none at all. Though to be frank, Icke is just mad whereas they are mad, dishonest and trying to get indoctrinate children with lies whereas Icke relies on purely on the strength of his arguments.

I think Stephen Fry could have explained it better. Any feedback from any creationists yet? Or from Angry Alaister Noble?
