The evolution of words

Postby Brian Jordan » Thu Feb 26, 2009 2:42 pm

Words, it seems, evolve too. But some evolve very slowly and, apparently, some in use today would have been understood 20,000 years ago. Not quite sure where (or when) that put's McIntosh's tower of Babel. That's just Indo-European btw. Goodness how far words go back into African history.
