Today's Grauniad on Cretinism

Postby Roger Stanyard » Tue Feb 17, 2009 5:12 pm

There is a long report in the Guardian today on British creationism. Nothing new in it, I must add. It is only what we put together 2 years ago on our wiki.

Of course the book of Genesis is a pile of metaphor and myth — so is the whole freaking Bible
.

I took exception to this Brian . Parts of the bible are literal history as well, albeit not very accurate at times. It's also poetry (e.g. the book of Psalms). Some of Meyers' statements just give people like Ham and McKay ammunition. For some reason (is it because he sees the roots of anti-semitism in Christianity ????), he appears to be a very bitter individual.
