Cryptic species

Postby Chris Sergeant » Thu Jul 19, 2007 1:31 pm

The New Scientist has an article on cryptic species. Research is finding animals that appear identical but are genetically quite distinct, to be much more widespread than previously thought.
For example the African elephant is actually two distinct non-interbreeding species.
Various references to other papers reporting similar findings.
So those creationists who accept evolution up to the species level can now come more into line with Science and agree that the large majority of animal life on Earth is after all a result of Evolution.
