YEC Bob Sorensen - compulsive liar exposed

Creationist bloggers can be infuriating. If one has infuriated you by persisting in nonsense even when corrected, or refusing to reply to your criiticsm, you may feel driven to recording the fact. If so, you may register your disapproval here and hope a response is forthcoming.

''These climate activists and Satan both have the same goal: the death of the human race that God created.''
The lying fiend Kirk Hastings on Facebook.
It is the climate change deniers who are doing the devil's work. Those who profess to be 'Christian' being some of the very worst of them ie they should, biblically, know better that is humanity is meant to look after the planet so it can continue to support us and not 'rape' it (as a Trump fanatic religious female once suggested).

I'm not particularly feuding here (unlike in many of my previous posts). I would agree that the current situation can make people think of 'end times' or 'when the world ends'.

I'm just concerned about how young earth creationists tell falsehoods that global warming is no big deal and efforts aren't needed (or won't work) to tackle the issue. And the likes of Ken Ham (global warming sceptics) are perhaps not choosing their words that carefully about the current situation - using the phrase 'opportunity for the Church to Be the Hands of Christ' on 11 March and then discussing with reference to AiG and its currently closed facilities that ''here we are in uncharted territory once again''. ... -ends.html (referencing this by another global warming sceptic Christian: ... ronavirus/

Sorensen (who presumably believes the world will end at some point) seems once again to be proclaiming - devoid of hard scientific evidence merely personal abuse written some months ago not right now* - that global warming (ie caused by human actions and ongoing) is 'fake' news:
''A drawback to our instant information age is exposure to fake news and bad news, and often a combination of both. There is anthropogenic climate change, fears that the Apophis asteroid will destroy the world in 2029, exaggerated reports of an asteroid that missed us by a long shot, the Wuhan Coronavirus, earthquakes, and more. Guess we don't need to worry about global warming.'' (Our attention is currently diverted by a more pressing problem.)

It is by practical actions and behaviours by societies, individuals and governments (often inspired, promoted or directly carried out by medical experts and other scientists) that such challenges are addressed. Inaction not being a sane option (unless you think God is sanctioning the inaction to bring about the 'end'). Ham appears to accept that with the virus but not with human-caused global warming (likewise Sorensen). I find that baffling. They seem to think global warming is a 'left wing' political issue. No. But the deniers are almost all right wing people who try to make the issue a political or religious one. (What if they win the argument but are getting the science wrong. It will be the poor who suffer most then, including in the future.)

This TV advert (Professor Chris Whitty) is currently being shown on TV in the UK: ... t-17944432

(I imagine Ken Ham will have no option to cancel his planned Easter conference on 'climate' change - but he is leaving it rather late in the day.)
