Very interesting and informative - whatever your perspective. But it could upset sincere supporters of Ken Ham and Answers in Genesis (and annoy insincere supporters).

Based on this one video and a quick internet search, I get the impression the presenter is more an advocate for science than a basher of religion:

By coincidence also this week:

I made this response in comments:
"Now listened. 'Kinds' in the Bible means species (pairs of which can routinely breed together). You cannot demonstrate that these (no longer existing) 'created kinds' ever existed, whether in Genesis or in the real history of the planet. Animals are all members of species (or else hybrids). See also Genesis 6:19-20. And levels of genetic diversity were not previously substantially greater than now to my knowledge. And the Mt St Helens 1980 eruption (like recent Hawaiian ones mentioned by Purdom on Facebook recently) is a total red herring to a 'global flood' or 'rapidly' formed rock layers since the Bible never mentions volcanism during the flood and also because the world contains plenty of rock layers in places where there are no volcanoes whatsoever. And no 'global flood' formed the Grand Canyon. Where in a YEC worldview there should be dinosaur fossils - but there aren't because the exposed layers are too old even for dinosaurs. Most sedimentary rock layers are formed very slowly. And the Christian Mary Schweitzer does not of course subscribe to young earth creationism. And Ken Ham admitted on 18 June: "Will Jurassic Park become a reality? Probably not. DNA is highly complex, and even if some DNA has survived since the flood of Noah’s time, it’s likely far too degraded (even in just a few thousand years) to reconstruct a complete genome". There should be more dino DNA if dinosaurs were alive less than 5,000 years ago - as is the case with other animals. The AiG apologetics is mostly stuff they made up - which is why many Christians who carefully read the Bible aren't familiar with it. And a very lengthy plug for AiG resources, merchandise and events - never miss an opportunity to sell some AiG books (as well a preach the gospel)!"

Thanks Ashley, that looks an interesting series of videos - although we could do with YouTube providing annotated slide shows rather than videos:less time consuming and annoying to others in the room.
But returning to topic: I didn't know Ham was claiming extra-terrestrial floods. Did they occur on all the planets simultaneously? And on moons? Maybe the Sun had a flood, too, and that's why all the planets were deluged, when the Sun went out.

I think Ham and co have been convinced by the evidence (despite not going there and despite rejecting other historical claims from science about this planet) that there was a past ocean (the media sometimes say 'mega-flood') on Mars. So they are using this to say how come evolutionists/anti-creationists/non-Christians/compromisers etc cannot accept that there was a (year long and global) mega-flood on Earth (which unlike Mars is c 66 per cent ocean today) in the 'recent' past? Surely all these scientists and non-YECs are not only denying the Bible but being 'inconsistent'?
