John Germain, who helped set up the BCSE and donated very generously financial has just passed away. he died suddenly and unexpectedly just over a week ago.
John lived in Jersey and I spend many an hour talking to him on the phone but, alas, just missed meeting him in the flesh a few years ago. A great shame, I must admit.

I worked a bit with John on a web site that sadly never quite came to fruition. He'll be missed.
